Safety Starts with Quality Materials
|
The quality of our Safety Beds begins with superior materials. The entire bed frame is created from 100% solid wood lumber in your choice of Oak, Maple, or Poplar. Do Not be fooled by claims from other furniture companies when they say “solid wood”, “wood products” or many of the other clever marketing terms to hide the fact that you are getting composite materials and veneers, not really a piece of furniture made from wood boards. The only exception is our bunkie boards which is an engineered wood product with a special smooth and moisture resistant poly coating to better support and protect the mattress and bedding. |
All BBG adaptive beds come standard with a full frame, Bunkie board, and special medical mattress.

Side beds provide a greater level of safety against accidental exit or
falling from within the bed. The door panels can be built as
raised
or flush wood, Clear View acrylic, or crib slats for better air flow. Doors come in varying heights and can swing down or slide down depending on the bed configuration. |
Hi
Side beds provide the maximum level
of safety against accidental exit or falling that we build with 32
inches of safety door above the mattress. Door panels slide
up or
down and lock in the closed position. The back panel is fixed for added strength. Shown here is the optional inclining head feature which is available on all models. Door shown is a combination of our Shaker Slat and Clear View. |

Our
original design, the real advantage
to the Split Side safety bed is
that, the user can
safely get in and out of the bed
provided they are cognitively alert, but the opening is small enough
they cannot fall out. This unique opening also enables the caregiver to open only a portion of the safety rail to safely access the patient or open the whole side for patient transfer or linen service, etc Download Spec Sheet |

We
have the ability to build a safety bed with a range of
fixed heights, or we can add the ability to raise and lower the bed.

As with any natural wood
product there will be color variations and imperfections in the wood
